Hello, I’m Alyssa Gibson, a multidisciplinary designer based in St. Catharines, ON.
Bringing nearly a decade of experience, Alyssa specializes in creating strategic brand identity systems, custom illustrations, user-friendly interfaces, publication layouts, and motion graphics.
She currently works as a full-time designer in the Marketing and Communications department at Brock University, contributing to large-scale campaigns and student-focused materials. Since 2021, she has independently led her own freelance practice, where she oversees creative strategy, client communication, and end-to-end project delivery.
In 2024, Alyssa co-founded Duotone, a creative studio built on partnership, trust, and a love of thoughtful design. As a studio lead, she helps guide projects from concept to execution, creating distinctive work grounded in strong design rationale.

Designed and produced print and digital materials, including magazines, brochures, presentations, donor proposals, and annual reports.
Created campaign assets for social media, web, and internal communications that supported recruitment and university storytelling.
Developed animated content such as recruitment ads, GIFs, and motion-based social media posts.
Created original illustrations for a variety of university materials, including recruitment visuals, apparel designs for the Campus Store, and a refreshed version of Boomer the Badger used across campus.
