Brock University 2023–24 Campaign

Overview

As a full-time graphic designer at Brock University, I was involved in bringing the 2023–24 recruitment campaign, “Break Through Here,” to life. Designed to inspire prospective students to envision their future at Brock, the campaign combined empowering messaging, stats, and inclusive visuals to build brand presence. Working with the Marketing and Communications team, I helped execute the campaign creative across print and digital platforms.

ANIMATED ASSETS

To elevate our digital presence, motion graphics were created that added energy and clarity to key messaging. These animated assets were designed to be flexible and attention-grabbing, used across applications such as social media campaigns, digital billboards, and more. Each piece was crafted to be engaging, quick to digest, and aligned with how students interact with content today.

Featured below is an Instagram Story from a social series we developed, one of several flights in the campaign. Each animated icon was designed to stand alone on its own slide, highlighting key reasons to love Brock. The video below brings them together into a single Instagram Story format.

ILLUSTRATION

I contributed to student-facing materials by providing custom illustrations that added personality and visual interest. Custom illustration is a recurring element in much of Brock’s recruitment work I’m involved with.

Design work featured in this case study was created for Brock University and remains the intellectual property of the institution.
